Doesn't it seem that we just celebrated the holidays? Here we are again! 2025 is upon us in just a few weeks. This time of year we are all celebrating our own special holiday. Here at the sewing school we are celebrating our love for our families and friends and our great love of sewing. I wish I had counted all of the beautiful garments students have produced. Everything from skirts to pants, casual to formal, and many, many dresses. We also have an active group of quilters who have stitched wonderful creations--true art! Our home decor students have stitched products for their homes giving their homes a great lift. All of these ideas start with "I wish I could!" You too can learn to sew. January registration is now open! There are some spaces available in most classes. Again, we will be taking registrations for our "paid' waiting lists, trying very hard to get everyone into a class as soon as possible. What is a paid waiting list?  Our classes are limited to six students. With so many people interested in taking classes we have had to start a paid waiting list. When our maximum number is met we start a waiting list of students who have paid for that class and time. As registrations arrive we start the list and note the date. When we place students in classes we use this date, meaning that the earliest registrations get available spaces first. We will call you and let you know when we have a space. It is helpful if you have some flexibility in days and times of classes. We want everyone to learn to sew!!! |
